Gubyaukgyi temple in Wetkyi-Inn The temple was built by Razakuman in the early thirteen century in the form of Mahabodi temple in Buddha Gaya, India. Buddha Gaya is the Buddha birthplace in India that Buddhist people think is the holly place. Most Buddhist people want to see and go to Buddha Gaya in their lifetimes because they believe in Karma. Located in Wetkyi-In village, Gubyaukgyi means the great painted cave temple. That is why, there are many mural paintings inside the temple.
